Building a Community Space

Park in the Park

Building Our Community

The “Park in the Park” initiative is an exciting project designed to enhance the front of Highland Park by creating a welcoming community space. Our vision includes adding much-needed shade structures and other amenities to make the area more comfortable, versatile, and enjoyable for students, families, and the entire neighborhood.

This project is about more than just improving the school grounds—it’s about fostering a sense of community and encouraging connection in a shared outdoor space.

Progress and Goals

We are actively working to bring this vision to life! By the end of January, we will be submitting a cost estimate to the district for approval. Our goal is to begin construction this summer. To help offset the costs, we are seeking partners and donors who share our commitment to enhancing Highland Park.

Starting in February or March, we will also be launching a personalized paver fundraiser, giving you the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on this community space.

We’re still looking for community partners, donors, and supporters to help make this project a reality. If you’re interested in contributing or learning more, please fill out the form below, and we’ll connect with you.

Thank you for being a part of the “Park in the Park” journey—together, we can create a space that brings our community closer for years to come.
